Just like the changing seasons, trends come and go. Check out the latest fall trends down below!
Velvet: Velvet accents like chairs and pillows give your room a luxury feel. It also adds a level of texture, which is a big overarching theme for this fall.
Gold: Gold is still going strong this upcoming fall season. Although it’s commonly used as a statement piece, don’t be afraid to use it in bigger pieces like carpets. Or using it more frequently like in our bathroom example.
Jewel Tones: Pops of indigo, fuchsia, emerald green, and dark blue will help revitalize a room. Keep them as accent colors to your couch or table to not overwhelm your room with color.
Textures: Texture is just as important as lighting and color. It adds both visual and tactile elements to a room. Different textures can convey different atmospheres. For example, having fluffy, knitted textures bring out warmth while reflected textures add pop and a modern statement to a room.
Blush: Light pink/blush is a surprisingly great neutral tone! It adds warmth and character to a room and can be paired with both light and dark colors.
Oversized Florals: A surprising fall trend, oversized florals are popping up more and more as focal points for rooms. Have it on your wall and decorate your room around it. Or use it on your cushions or bedding as accent pieces.
Mix & Match Styles: More and more, people aren’t sticking to one focused style when decorating. Mix and match chairs, furniture pieces, or styles to make something completely your own.
Black: Black is back and here to stay for fall and winter. Using black in your accessories when decorating a neutral colored room will bring both warmth and texture. Black also looks great with metals. Be sure to keep black in your accessories though so it won’t completely darken your room.
